Special Invited Talk on Commodity Derivative Exchange Market, The Department of Commerce (Shift II), St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Tiruchirapalli, in collaboration with SEBI, organized a Special Invited Talk on “Commodity Derivative Exchange Market” on 17 July 2026 at 2.00 p.m.
The resource person, CA N. Sundar, a SEBI-Enabled Trainer for BSE, NSE, and MCX, shared his expertise on the functioning, significance, and trading mechanisms of the commodity derivatives market.

He provided valuable insights into commodity exchanges, risk management, hedging strategies, and investment opportunities. The session was highly interactive and included hands-on training, enabling Commerce students to gain practical exposure to commodity market operations.
The programme was organized and coordinated by Dr. J. Berkmans, Association President, Department of Commerce (Shift II), and Dr. B. Augustine Arockiaraj, Coordinator of Commerce (Shift II), who ensured the smooth conduct of the event.

Ms. C. F. Octovia Antony Sessamal, Vice Principal (Shift II), felicitated the gathering and appreciated the initiative taken by the Department of Commerce in organizing a knowledge-enriching programme in collaboration with SEBI.
