St. Joseph’s College Signs MoU with Kauvery Hospital to Promote Health Awareness and Social Welfare.
The Youth Red Cross Unit of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kauvery Hospital, Tiruchirappalli, to jointly promote health awareness, life-saving skills, and career competency development among students and the wider community.
The MoU signing ceremony was held on October 8, 2025, at St. Joseph’s College, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the partnership between academia and industry for the betterment of society.

The MoU was formally signed by Rev. Fr. Dr. Mariadoss, Principal of St. Joseph’s College, and Dr. Subburethina Bharathi P, Deputy General Manager of Kauvery Hospital. The agreement aims to initiate impactful training, awareness, and outreach programs that will benefit students, faculty, and the community at large.
This collaboration places special emphasis on career competency development programs for underprivileged students, in keeping with the Jesuit mission of social responsibility and community service. In addition, both institutions will engage in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and public health outreach initiatives to enhance health literacy and empower the youth.

The MoU reflects the shared vision of St. Joseph’s College and Kauvery Hospital in advancing holistic education, health consciousness, and community development, thereby fostering a meaningful bridge between education and healthcare sectors.
