St. Joseph’s College Conducts Commerce Endowment Lecture on Circular Economy!

Tiruchirappalli, Nov. 25:
The Department of Commerce (Shift-II) of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, organised a Commerce Endowment Lecture on the theme “The Role of Circular Economy in Realising a 35 Trillion Dollar Indian Economy by 2047.” The event was felicitated by Dr. D. Kumar, Deputy Principal of the College.

The lecture featured Mr. A.P.V. Diwahar, Scientist at Concord Helmet & Safety Products Pvt. Ltd., Trichy, as the resource person. He highlighted the growing importance of sustainability, waste reduction, and resource optimisation in shaping India’s long-term economic vision.
The session was coordinated by Dr. B. Augustine Arockiaraj, with Dr. A. Ignatius serving as President and Dr. J. Berkmans as the Organising Secretary.
