BLOOD DONATION CAMP
Organised at National College, Trichy
on 04 December 2025!
A Blood Donation Camp was organised on 04 December 2025 by the Youth Red Cross and the 2(TN) Armoured Squadron NCC of National College, Trichy, in collaboration with HDFC Bank, Trichy. The camp was conducted under the guidance of the Honourable Vice Chancellor of Bharathidasan University.
The camp was inaugurated by Ms. S. Kamalam and Mr. A. Sukumar, Senior Managers of HDFC Bank, Trichy, along with Dr. D. Muthu Ramakrishnan, Principal of National College. In their inaugural address, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and appreciated the efforts of the organisers.
Students from various departments of the college participated enthusiastically. Both male and female students came forward to donate blood, reflecting their commitment to social responsibility.
The procedures followed in the camp included:
Registration of donors.
Preliminary health check-up (BP, hemoglobin level, weight, medical history)
Blood collection by trained medical personnel
Post-donation rest and refreshments
All safety protocols and hygienic measures were strictly adhered to throughout the camp. More than 100 students successfully donated blood. Each donor received a certificate from MGM Government Hospital and an appreciation certificate along with a gift from HDFC Bank.
The event was efficiently organised by Dr. K. Srividhya, YRC Coordinator, and Dr. G. Rajesh of the 2(TN) Armoured Squadron NCC of National College. Their dedicated efforts ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the camp.

2025 டிசம்பர் 04 ஆம் தேதி, திருச்சி நேஷனல் கல்லூரி இளையோர் (YRC), 2(TN) ஆர்ம்டு ஸ்குவாட்ரன் NCC மற்றும் எச்டிஎப்சி வங்கி (HDFC Bank), திருச்சி ஆகியவற்றின் இணைப்பில் இரத்த தான முகாம் சிறப்பாக நடைபெறப்பட்டது. இந்த முகாம் பாரதிதாசன் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் பெருமைக்குரிய துணைவேந்தரின் வழிகாட்டுதலின் கீழ் நடத்தப்பட்டது.
இம்முகாமை எச்டிஎப்சி வங்கி திருச்சியின் மூத்த மேலாளர்களான திருமதி எஸ். கமலம் மற்றும் திரு. ஏ. சுகுமார், மற்றும் நேஷனல் கல்லூரி முதல்வர் டாக்டர் டி. முத்து இராமகிருஷ்ணன் ஆகியோர் இணைந்து துவக்கிவைத்தனர். தங்கள் துவக்க உரையில், இரத்த தானத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை வலியுறுத்தி, ஏற்பாட்டாளர்களின் முயற்சியை பாராட்டினர்.
கல்லூரியின் பல்வேறு துறைகளிலிருந்து மாணவர்கள் ஆர்வமுடன் பங்கேற்றனர். ஆண், பெண் மாணவர்கள் இருவரும் சமூக பொறுப்புணர்வுடன் மிகுந்த உற்சாகத்துடன் இரத்த தானத்தில் ஈடுபட்டனர்.
இரத்ததான முகாமில் பின்பற்றப்பட்ட செயல்முறைகள் வருமாறு
1.தானளிப்பவர்களின் பதிவு
2.ஆரம்ப உடல் நிலை பரிசோதனை (இரத்த அழுத்தம், ஹீமோகுளோபின், எடை, மருத்துவ வரலாறு)
3.பயிற்சி பெற்ற மருத்துவ பணியாளர்களால் இரத்த சேகரிப்பு
4.தானத்திற்குப் பிந்தைய ஓய்வு மற்றும் சிற்றுண்டி வழங்கல்
முகாம் முழுவதும் பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் சுத்தமான நடைமுறைகள் கடைபிடிக்கப்பட்டன. 100-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் வெற்றிகரமாக இரத்த தானம் செய்தனர். ஒவ்வொரு தானளிப்பவரும் எம்.ஜி.எம் அரசு மருத்துவமனையிலிருந்து சான்றிதழும், எச்டிஎப்சி வங்கியிடமிருந்து பாராட்டு சான்றிதழும் பரிசும் பெற்றனர்.
இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி எளிமையாகவும் சிறப்பாகவும் நடைபெற YRC ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் டாக்டர் கே. ஸ்ரீவித்யா மற்றும் 2(TN) ஆர்ம்டு ஸ்குவாட்ரன் NCC-யின் டாக்டர் ஜி. ராஜேஷ் ஆகியோர் அக்கறையுடன் ஒழுங்கமைத்தனர்.
